The GIS center in Dubai Municipality held an introductory virtual meeting with Dubai Health Authority (DHA), in which Maitha Al Nuaimi, Manager of Geographic Information Network Section at the center talked about Geo Dubai initiative and Dubai Here’s system. She displayed the importance of Dubai’s geospatial data and its role in supporting Dubai’s 2021 plan and vision to be a smart city. She also introduced a brief about geospatial services provided by the GIS center, such as: GeoConsulting, GeoDrone, GeoLidar, GeoTraining, GeoSoftware GeoSolutions, and GeoHub.
In addition, she praised strategic stakeholders’ efforts and cooperation in the signed SLAs & MOUs which aims to provide a comprehensive, standardized and updated basemap in the emirate to be used as an effective tool for planning, designing and managing development projects in Dubai.
