A delegation from the Dubai International Project Management Forum visited the GISCD in Dubai Municipality, to overview the prominent geospatial projects and initiatives in the center which is part of the program of the forum's sessions, and with the aim of promoting them at regional and global levels. The delegation was welcomed by Eng. Maitha Al Nuaimi, Acting Director of the GISCD, and the visit included a tour in the Geospatial Experiments Area, where they viewed the most prominent projects and technologies of the Center that support the geospatial development of Dubai. Including the Dubai Digital Twin Project, which represents a digital map of the Emirate of Dubai that displays live geospatial data through a 3D geospatial database that contains maps and information for all facilities, landmarks, and infrastructure and government assets.
