On the second day of BIM Middle East 2020 Conference & Expo, Ali Ismail, BIM Expert at GIS center gave a half-day training workshop for applying and implementing buildingSMART openBIM standards, which represent a universal approach to collaborative design, realization and operation & maintenance of buildings based on open standards and workflows. The workshop targeted architects, structural engineers, and BIM project managers. The aim of the workshop was to raise awareness about the importance of using international open standards for building design and its benefits for government entities and private companies.
