The Dubai Municipality, represented by the GISCD participated in the 3rd Annual Digital Twin Conference, by presenting its project on 3D infrastructure maps as part of the Digital Twin projects chain. The project aims to prepare a comprehensive study using advanced technology to enhance the Digital Twin and produce 3D maps of the infrastructure, including geospatial data for surface & subsurface. It also includes a unified digital platform supporting advanced analysis, information exchange, and building an integrated model for data simulation. Eng. Manal Al Hashimi presented a comprehensive overview of the project stages and the latest technology used to extract accurate data of the infrastructure, along with a detailed methodology for collecting and extracting infrastructure data then presenting it in a 3D technique.
